A catch-all email mailbox is one that collects all the emails sent to invalid addresses. For instance, if your email address is info@domain.com, but somebody mistypes it and sends an email to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have set up. Just one single mailbox per domain can have this feature enabled and thus you’ll never miss messages because the other party has an outdated email address or has made a spelling error. The disadvantage of having a catch-all mailbox is that you may begin receiving lots of spam email messages, but this issue can be resolved using an anti-spam filtering solution. It’s also crucial to bear in mind that a mailbox with an active catch-all functionality cannot redirect incoming emails to a third-party email address.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all email mailbox easily in case you have a cloud hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager tool in our custom-created Hepsia hosting Control Panel is fully featured, yet exceptionally simple to use, and it will allow you to activate different features, including the catch-all one, with only several clicks. All the email addresses that you’ve created will be displayed alphabetically in this section and next to each of them you will find a mini "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking on it once will activate the feature, clicking it again will deactivate it. Since you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will warn you if you already have a different mailbox with this feature enabled or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

You will be able to configure a catch-all email address with no more than a click in case you have a semi-dedicated server with our company and your emails are handled by our cloud platform. All the email addresses that you create with any domain name hosted in the semi-dedicated account will be listed in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a mini "Catch-all" icon on its right-hand side, so all it will take to enable this option will be to click on that icon. In the exact same way you’ll be able to remove the feature, if you no longer need it. Our system will warn you if you’re trying to enable a second catch-all email address for a given domain or if there is enabled email forwarding, but it’ll never disable or change any feature automatically and without your consent.
